At Elm Grove, we truly care about the safety and wellbeing of our children.
All staff play a part in ensuring that all children feel secure and supported. Our staff are committed to providing a warm, positive, and safe environment that encourages every child's social, physical, and moral development.
To make sure we're always looking out for our students, all our staff receive annual training on safeguarding and child protection. We follow the important guidelines set out by the Department for Education, including Keeping Children Safe in Education.
We take a proactive approach in monitoring children who may be at risk and work collaboratively to provide the necessary support. Our school has clear procedures for dealing with any instances of suspected abuse to ensure everyone in our community knows how to respond to concerns.
All staff at our school have gone through thorough checks to ensure they are suitable to work with children, including identity verification, qualifications, and an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
