School meals at Elm Grove Primary are provided through a contract with Brighton & Hove City Council and a company called Caterlink.
A school lunch costs £2.60 and needs to be paid for through the online Parentpay portal: 
 
Parents / carers of all pupils on roll will be given a log-in to Parentpay which they can use for online payments for school meals, school trips.
Any parents not able to access this online can ask the School Office for a barcoded letter and can make payments at any local shop displaying the Paypoint logo.
There is no need to book a school meal in advance. Children can decide on the day if they want a school dinner or bring a packed lunch. 
If a child has any dietary requirements for allergy or cultural / religious reasons, parents / carers need to complete a form which can be obtained at the school office. The school is able to offer a Halal menu option, if required.
