Our vision statement, ‘Everyone Included, Everyone Valued, Learning and Thriving Together’, encapsulates our ethos at Elm Grove. All of our brilliant staff are dedicated to providing an inclusive, nurturing and supportive learning environment for your children.

Teaching at Elm Grove is underpinned by our Learning Model, the 'Elm Grove Tree of Learning', which is designed to ensure that children get access to all of the key ingredients for learning throughout every part of the school day. In every lesson, children are given opportunities to revisit prior learning, make links, learn new concepts, access quality modelling, have a go on their own, challenge themselves and evaluate and review their progress.

Our Learning Behaviours: Co-operation, Motivation, Reflection, Creativity and Determination, encourage children to reflect on their learning styles, celebrate their achievements and pinpoint their next steps.

We want all of the children to love their time at our school, where we will prepare them for their secondary education and beyond and will instil them with a lifelong love of learning.
