Hello everyone!

Not many people still need to access the website this week as most of us are back in school.

If you are still working from home:

For maths, continue to follow the white rose resources as in previous weeks.

For English, follow the links on the English tabs on the website.

We won’t be uploading other subjects on the website, however, if you need more resources to work with at home, please us know by email and we can send you links.

Maths summer term, week 8, 15.06.20

A little bit different this week to match up with what some of us are doing in school.  We are going to be easing in gradually by looking at some maths where we can spot patterns and solve problems.

If you are at home, I would suggest doing two days on each maths problem:

Click here for problem 1 ‘The Number Gives the Design’.

Click here for problem 2 ‘Follow the number

Read each problem and click ‘Getting started’ to get going.  It would be great to see any patterns you make on ClassDojo!

Maths Summer term, week 708.06.20

Its great to see some of you using the Times Table Rock Stars website already.  If you have not, and you are able to, try and log on each day this week and have a go as your Early Bird activity.  Click here for website.

The first activity is a 5 minute challenge where you need to answer as many multiplication questions as you can.  The programme then works out which timestables you are good at and which ones you need to work on.  From my memory, there were a few of you who could definitely do with some more practise!  All passwords and log on details have been emailed to parents.

Please also continue with work on the White Rose Maths website below.

Please read on a daily basis. We look forward to hearing about the books that you have read.

Here are a few ideas for follow up activities that can be done to help support your understanding of a text.

    1. Design a new front cover for the book that you are reading. Create a true/ false quiz about what you have read.
    2. Tell someone about what you have read. You could maybe call a grandparent or friend to tell them about it.
    3. Make a list of any words or phrases that you could use in your own writing.
