Welcome to the Elm Grove kids’ prize draw!
Watch the video now to see if you’ve won a prize. Good luck!
There’s still time to donate
We know that times are hard for many families. That’s why we gave every child an equal chance to win, with no need to buy a ticket. But donations from families who are able to make one are hugely appreciated and will make a real difference.
The PTA usually raises around £12,000 for the school through it’s annual programme of events.
If you’re in a position to help us make up some of these funds, please make your donation here.
What happens to the money raised?
Many of the things your kids enjoy at Elm Grove are paid for by the PTA – they could never be covered by the school’s own budget.
Major redevelopment of our outdoor spaces
Funds raised by the PTA have paid for the blossom garden, the reception/year 1 playground and the redevelopment of the top playground (look out for more improvements soon!).
Each year we give class grants for trips to zoos, museums and all sorts of other places.
We’ve paid for visits from Victorian performers, mind-blowing scientists and even owls! And we’ve provided materials for the children’s parade, musical instruments and, of course, books.
Stepping in during the coronavirus pandemic
During lockdown, when school meal vouchers were delayed, it was the PTA that temporarily covered the costs of food deliveries, so that no child would go without.
With your help, we make a real difference to life at Elm Grove. Please help us continue this support by donating if you can.
Supporting the local businesses who’ve always supported us
This year it wouldn’t have been right to ask local businesses to donate prizes.
Instead, we’re supporting them through these difficult times by paying for the prizes, with money provided by a donor in the school community.
This is our way of thanking the business owners who’ve donated so generously over many years.
