PTA Fundraising

What an amazing year it’s been! We hope you’ve enjoyed the lovely events that our school community has managed to put on! We’ve had cheese and wine nights, discos, raffles, the Spring Fair, the Komedia comedy night, the Summer Arts Festival, cake sales, and book giveaways. Thanks to you all for volunteering, coming to support and helping out at these events, since September the PTA have raised a record breaking…


With this money and support from the PTA we have managed to:

  • Buy new PE mats for the gym hall
  • Fund a whole school drama experience
  • Give £1500 for literacy books to Reception & Y1
  • Give every child a book from our book bonanza
  • Source and buy 15 tablets to support the ICT curriculum
  • Given funds in excess of £4,000 for the decoration and flooring of the year 6 classrooms
  • Pay for the top playground which is being renovated this summer!
  • Pay a yearly grant to support the maintenance of the blossom garden
  • Fund £500 to the SEND team for dyslexia reading software
  • Fund the building of the whale for this year’s Children’s Parade
  • Fans for the School in this hot weather

For next year we are already working on:

  • Supporting Mr James with a grant application and funding for a graphic novel library to
    encourage a love of reading
  • Funding the costs for a Fare Share initiative to providing the school with a larder for parents to
    access, healthy snacks for all KS2 pupils and food packages for families in need.
  • Provide a whole school experience
  • Support the SEND team with much needed equipment
  • Raising funds for a ‘green screen’ across the top playground to intercept pollution from Elm Grove
  • Providing funds to renovate the Y5 classrooms

Want to get involved?! We are looking for a volunteer coordinator and a grant coordinator to join the team! We would also love to have lots more parents and carers to be part of the team, you don’t need to have a role, you can just join us to help come up with fund raising ideas as and when you can.   • 10th December – Christmas Market, Grotto, café16th December – Winter Raffle draw
  • 2nd March – World Book Day
  • April – Spring Fair
  • June – Summer Arts Festival
